 The HASA Council is delighted to share the 2nd circular for the HASA 2025 Symposium. Our grand event taking place in Middelburg, Mpumalanga to be hosted by the Middelburg Heritage Society between 13th and 15th October 2025.

The registration form will follow in the next circular. 

We invite our members, friends and colleagues to Save the Date, and note the request for the submission of presentation titles and abstracts of research papers. We also draw attention to the opportunity to give thought to nominations for HASA recognition of Heritage champions, with the award of HASA certificates and the Gold Medal Deadline for submissions end of July. See the HASA website for information… but we shall shortly follow with a circular specifically on this element . 

Remember too to give thought to your annual report. Our success depends on local benchmarks and achievements and here is an opportunity to summarise, inform and share your news of projects big and small. 

This circular will also be dispatched to all who attended the HASA symposia over the last three years.
