volunteer driven non-profit setup to help represent the wiki contributing community South Africa. This includes
projects such as Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons, Wiki Source, Wiki News, and Wiki Voyage.
Wiki Loves Monuments is a photographic competition designed to increase the content of historical heritage
sites in South Africa, onto Wikipedia. It is officially the largest photo contest in the world! This year a grand
total of 242,344 photographs were submitted by 7,498 participants from all over the world.
All photographs are donated to the Creative Commons with a standard CC BY-SA 3.0 copyright, which means
that everyone in the world can use and enjoy the photographs.
